During a recent court appearance, Nicki explained why she was mistaken for a member of the Bloods.

Kenneth “Zoo” Petty and Nicki Minaj were members of the Mac Baller Brims, which has been described as one of New York's most deadly gangs, according to Jennifer Hough and her lawyers.

Nicki and Kenneth have been using their underworld connections to intimidate, blackmail, and harass Hough into recanting rape charges against the rap star's spouse, which date back to 1994, according to Hough's $20 million lawsuits.

Kenneth has been fighting to have his name deleted from the National Sex Offender Registry after serving four years in prison for a knife-point rape. He must notify authorities in any jurisdiction where he lives or works as a result of his conviction.

According to Hough, the couple offered her up to $500,000 to modify her narrative. When Hough refused, Nicki and Kenneth sent their mafia associates to threaten her in the hopes of persuading her to change her mind.

The couple's travel to Queens, New York, in October 2021, according to Hough, proved that they are linked to the Mac Baller Brims, a subset of The Bloods.

The controversy originates from a video taken of Nicki and Kenneth in New York in October of 2021. Several individuals are said to have been seen in the video making gang signals while hanging out with the couple.

Nicki Minaj, on the other hand, claimed she was posing for a shot in front of a mural honoring Sean Bell when she was immediately surrounded by people she claimed were her admirers.

“I was quickly surrounded by my fans, particularly in this instance because my pink Rolls Royce was in the direct sightline of apartment buildings across the street from where I had stopped. While my husband and I recognized a few friends and acquaintances from the neighborhood that night, including Rico Danna, an artist whom I intend to sign to my label, none of them belong to any gang. Further, we did not plan to meet anyone in advance because we had not planned to stop there. Once I came out of the car, the news traveled quickly, and people just showed up,” Nicki clarified to Judge Eric N.Vitaliano.

Hough's accusation that Nicki is a gangbanging criminal has been dismissed by Nicki.

Nicki also consistently denied offering Hough $500,000. While Nicki admits that a friend named “Black” set up a phone call between them, she claims she never pushed Hough to change her statement or offered her money.

“During the call, I never asked her to change her story; I never offered her any money in return for a statement, and I did not threaten her with any type of harm if she chose not to provide a statement,” Nicki claimed. “In fact, I emphatically told her that I did not want her to lie about anything and to tell the truth about what she had just revealed to me only if she was comfortable with doing so.”

Jennifer Hough allegedly informed Nicki Minaj that the rape allegations could have been a “misunderstanding.” Nicki said Hough was hinting that she was willing to accept a cash benefit.

Nicki claimed Hough told her everything she needed to know: “I'm not saying it didn't happen, but maybe it was just a misunderstanding. I could not believe what I had just heard. I could not believe that it was so easy for this woman to imply that she may have exaggerated or lied after how much this man had suffered through as such a young boy,” she said.

Nicki's husband, who is listed in Hough's $20 million lawsuits, admitted to not registering as a sex offender when he moved into Nicki's lavish Calabasas, house.

Kenneth Petty is expected to be sentenced in March.
