Post Malone‘s stage fall didn’t stop him from giving his fans a good show. The rapper is currently on tour in support of his latest album Twelve Carat Toothache.
Malone was performing in St Louis, Missouri on Saturday night ( September 17th) when he fell off the stage and cracked three ribs.
After the incident, medics checked on him, but he refused to leave the stage. Instead, he finished his set while injured.
The rapper posted a video on his social media account apologizing to his fans in St.Louis for having to cut his set short, but said that he was okay and had been checked out by doctors who gave him pain meds. He also promised that he’d return to St. Louis for an extended two-hour concert when he next comes through town.
Malone said the following in his video: “Hey St Louis, I love you guys so much. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for putting up with my dumbass.”
“Whenever we do the acoustic part of the show. Where the guitars standing it goes down and there’s this big ass whole so I go around there and they turn the corner and I bust my ass.”
Malone continued by saying: ” It got me pretty good and we just got back from the hospital and everything is good. They gave me some pain meds and everything. So we can keep kicking ass on the tour. I just want to apologize to everyone in St. Louise and I want to say thank you guys so much for coming to my show.”
The rapper ended the video by saying: “Next time I’m around we’re going to do a two-hour show for you. So we can make up for the couple of missed songs that we missed. Thank you for your love and thanks for hanging around. Even though I got my ass kicked by myself. I love you guys so much. Thank you and have a great night St Louis.”
