Before the testimonies began on Tuesday, it came to light that YNW Juvy's sister had allegedly made threats against Melly's mother, Jamie King, on social media. As a result, King will now have a bodyguard present whenever she is at the courthouse.

Lastly, it was discovered that YNW Melly was spotted at a music video shoot on the same day that two of his friends were brutally murdered on October 26, 2018. Lead detective Mark Moretti confirmed that the video was filmed and posted on Facebook the same day YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser were shot and killed.
