HERE’S THE VIDEO EVERYONE’S PASSING AROUND right now. X user @tymovestak posted bodycam footage claiming police just raided Polo G’s house and found over $700, 000 IN CASH. In the clip, Polo G allegedly tells cops “I’ll go band for band with all of yall” and “Y’all broke asf I’m getting arrested for money.” Sounds wild right. It got pushed as brand new footage from a fresh arrest. That’s the claim making rounds online, and it’s blowing up fast because nothing spreads faster than a rapper roasting police for being broke. But before you retweet it screaming main character energy, hold up. Bodycam footage this dramatic deserves a second look before anyone calls it fact.
Newly released body cam footage shows rapper Polo G ARGUING with the WHOLE police station and calling all of them BROKE after they arrested him for having over $700k cash in his house 😳👀

POLO G IS 100% A REAL RAPPER, that part is not up for debate. Real name Taurus Bartlett, and yes, he really did get arrested in Miami back in 2021 after leaving his own Hall of Fame release party. Bodycam footage from that arrest really did drop, but in 2022, not last week. The video really does show him going back and forth with cops. So the guy, the arrest, and the footage are all real things that happened. That much is confirmed. The rest of the story going around right now is where things get shaky, and we will get into that next.
Time to pump the brakes. THERE IS NO NEW ARREST. No cash raid at anybody’s house, no fresh 2026 drama. That bodycam clip going viral is straight up from a 2021 Miami arrest that TMZ already put out back in 2022. Old news wearing a new outfit.
And the $700K CASH SEIZURE everyone’s yelling about? According to actual reporting, that never happened. The real 2021 arrest was over battery and resisting arrest after a release party, not stacks of money getting confiscated. Nobody found $700k. Nobody found $280k either, in case that number pops up too.
So the video is real, the story wrapped around it is not. Somebody just recycled old footage and slapped a wild caption on it for clicks.

NO, THIS “NEW” ARREST NEVER HAPPENED. The bodycam clip going around from X user @tymovestak is OLD FOOTAGE from Polo G’s actual 2021 Miami arrest, the one with battery on a cop and resisting charges, which TMZ already put out back in 2022. No house raid. No $700k. No band-for-band standoff about fresh cash. That part is straight up FABRICATED.
People keep recycling this old clip and slapping a new caption on it like it just dropped, which is basically the internet’s favorite move at this point. We checked every source we could find and THERE IS NO RECENT MONEY ARREST to confirm. Until real proof shows up, treat this one as unverified clickbait wearing an old bodycam costume.
