It’s that time of year again when we at Dilemaradio take a look back at the past 12 months in hip-hop and highlight the top songs of the year.
This year has been full of amazing music from a wide range of artists, and it wasn’t easy to narrow it down to just a few, but after much debate, we have compiled a list of what we believe are the leading songs of the past year.
At Dilemaradio, we’ve been sharing our audience’s favorite tracks all year long across our social media platforms, highlighting the best of the best and sharing them with our followers as “The Top Track Of The Day.”
It’s not too late to cast your vote for your favorite track in this year’s chart at Dilemaradio. Our charts feature 106 of the hottest tracks from the industry of hip-hop, and we want to hear from you about which ones are your favorites. You can place your vote by checking out the charts HERE.
Dilemaradio’s annual hip-hop music chart is in full swing, with fans voting for their favorite tracks of the year. The leading tracks for each month have been announced, and it’s shaping up to be a tight race.
In January, Neek Bucks’ “Cartier (feat Stunna Gambino)” took the top spot, followed by J.I.D.’s “Surround Sound (feat. 21 Savage & Baby Tate)” in February. March saw BIG SCARR’s “MJ (feat. Quezz Ruthless)” rise to the top, and in April, QUIN NFN’s “Walk The Line” was the favorite.
Topping our chart for the month of January is “Cartier” by Neek Bucks, featuring Stunna Gambino.
In February, J.I.D.’s “Surround Sound” featuring 21 Savage and Baby Tate took the top spot.
March saw Big Scarr take the top spot with “MJ” featuring Quezz Ruthless.
In April, “Walk The Line” by QUIN NFN was the leading track.
May’s top track was Jim Jones’ “Doe Boy (feat. Doe Boy),” and in June, Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Part 5” was the clear favorite. The race heated up in July, with two tracks neck and neck: Guapdad 4000’s “Pose (feat. Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y)” and Don Q’s “Bottom Line (feat. Rowdy Rebel).”
In May, Jim Jones‘s track “Doe Boy” (feat. Doe Boy) emerged as the leading song.
During the month of June, “The Heart Part 5” by Kendrick Lamar became the top song.
In July, two tracks were closely competing for the top spot: “Pose (feat. Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y)” by GUAPDAD 4000 and “Bottom Line (feat. Rowdy Rebel)” by Don Q.
August was another close race, with I’m Outside / Intro by Arsonal Da Rebel and Mozzy’s “Open Arms” both receiving a significant number of votes. September saw Arsonal DA Rebel’s “City Boy Anthem” rise to the top, and in October, Asian Doll’s “Do It Again (feat. YBC Frizzy & EBK Dada)” was the favorite.
August saw fierce competition for the top spot between Arsonal Da Rebel’s “I’m Outside” and Mozzy‘s “Open Arms.”
In September, Arsonal DA Rebel’s “City Boy Anthem” rose to the top spot again.
In October, “Do It Again (feat. YBC Frizzy & EBK Dada)” by Asian Doll was the most popular song.
November’s leading track was J. Stone‘s “Hold Me Down (feat. Neelam),” and December’s top track so far is “Michael & Quincy” by NAS.
Topping our chart for the month of November is “Hold Me Down” by J.Stone, featuring Neelam
In December, Nas remains at the top with his song “Michael & Quincy,”
Voting for Dilemaradio’s annual hip-hop music chart is still open, so fans can continue to cast their ballots for their favorite tracks until the end of the year. The final results will be announced in the new year, so stay tuned to see which songs come out on top.
