On December 29th, an audio recording of a jail call between Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion‘s ex-friend Kelsey Harris was leaked online.

In the recording, Lanez can be heard apologizing for the shooting that occurred on July 12th, in which was shot in the foot.

The audio, which has since gone viral on social media, appears to be a candid conversation between the two individuals. Lanez can be heard saying, “I just want you to know bruh, I was just drunk. I just didn't even understand what the f*ck was going on.”

Lanez continued saying, “But you know regardless that's not gonna make anything right and that's not gonna make my actions right bruh. But I'm just deeply sorry.”

“I don't know there's a lot, a lot that happened but a whole lot bruh, like a whole lot bruh, I feel crazy about it, but in the state like what happened, happened already but I can't take it back.” He continued saying: “I'm just telling you I'm sorry but I was just too drunk bruh.”

In the following short audio clip, Megan can be heard crying in the ambulance after being shot by Lanez.

In the leaked audio conversation, Lanez can be heard telling Harris about his level of intoxication on the night of the incident. Lanez says: “When I got to the house they gave me like five shots off the door you feel me, Me taking shots past that time, I don't even remember what we were even arguing about.”

Lanez's statement about his level of intoxication on the night of the incident suggests that he may not have been fully aware of his actions.

In the jail call audio, Lanez can be heard seeking information about Megan Thee Stallion's hospitalization from Harris. “What hospital is she in?” Lanez asks. Harris replies that Megan is at Cedar Medical Center.

The following audio clip contains the sound of the gunshots from the night of the incident.

The rapper also asks Harris if she has the phone number for his security guard, Juan Jaquan. When Harris confirms that she does have Jaquan's number, Lanez requests that Harris call Jaquan and “figure out what you got to do to bail me out this sh*t.”

Throughout the conversation, Lanez expresses apologies and remorse. This portion of the audio adds further context to the incident and raises questions about Lanez's actions.

In the final portion of the leaked conversation, Harris tells Lanez that the report of the incident has already been released, but no names have been mentioned. Lanez asks, “What you mean is out?” and Harris responds that Megan's team is on top of the situation.

Lanez expresses disbelief that Megan would be involved in the release of the report, saying, “There's no way that Megan's on the thing.” Harris reassures him that so far, Megan has not been implicated in the release of the report.

The Canadian native then expresses concern about the potential backlash he may face as a result of the incident. He says, “The only dude that's going to get this backlash is me.”

The conversation ends with Lanez apologizing and saying, “Alright it is what it is, regardless if I get out of here today or not bruh I just want to let you all know bruh I'm sorry.” This final exchange suggests that Lanez was aware of the seriousness of the situation and the potential consequences he could suffer.

On December 23, Tory Lanez was found guilty of all three charges in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. According to the law and crime reporters, the text messages and the apology phone call from Lanez to Harris and Megan were crucial pieces of evidence in the case.

Lanez now faces up to 22 years in prison for the charges of assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle, and personal use of a firearm. The legal proceedings, in this case, have garnered widespread attention and have sparked discussions about gun violence and accountability. The outcome serves as a reminder of the serious consequences of such actions.
