DOPELYM THREW A WHOLE CONCERT AT PARC DES EXPOSITIONS and from the sound of it, the place was packed. Big stage, big crowd, big night for the Ivorian rap scene. But Himra, his own collab partner, was nowhere in sight. Not beef, not drama, dude was just OUT OF THE COUNTRY TRAVELING according to the video making rounds online. So instead of pulling up, Himra sent a video message to show love from wherever he was at. Kind of like when you skip your homie’s birthday party but still send the group chat a paragraph about how much you love him. Real support, zero smoke. Rap beef rumors can wait for another day, this one’s just two Ivorian rappers keeping the peace and the collabs coming.

Okay so before y’all start typing up a whole rap beef thread, calm down. THIS AIN’T DRAMA. According to the clip posted by @rapking634, Ivorian rapper Himra COULDN’T MAKE IT to Dopelym’s concert at Parc des Expositions because he was out traveling, so he sent a video instead. And it’s wholesome as heck. Himra basically hopped on camera to say congrats and give Dopelym his flowers for pulling off the show. That’s it. No shade, no clapback, just one rapper hyping up another rapper’s big night. These two already got collabs together like JAMAIS CHERLA, so this is just homies supporting homies. Refreshing not to write about somebody’s court date for once, honestly.

So Who Are Himra And Dopelym Anyway

HIMRA AND DOPELYM ARE BOTH RAPPERS OUT OF IVORY COAST, straight from the Côte d’Ivoire hip-hop scene that a lot of y’all probably slept on. These two aren’t strangers either. They already linked up on tracks before, like JAMAIS CHERLA, plus other joints where they traded verses. So when one of them shows up talking about the other on camera, people pay attention because there’s history there. Think of it less like two randoms and more like two guys who already got receipts of working together. That history is exactly why this new clip got people buzzing in the first place, even before anybody knew what was actually said.

THIS CLIP DIDN’T JUST APPEAR OUT OF THIN AIR. It came from Actualis.ci, the TikTok and Instagram page that seems to be first on the scene for every big Ivorian hip hop moment lately. They posted the video of Himra’s message straight from the concert, and it spread from there.

Once it hit TikTok, X users jumped on it fast, with accounts like @rapking634 sharing the clip and slapping a BOOM alert on it to get eyes on it. That’s usually how these things blow up, one page catches the raw footage, then everybody else just reposts it with their own caption to farm views.

Nothing wild here, just receipts on where the video actually came from before it went everywhere.
