The notoriously hot-headed Joe Budden has been making headlines recently with his criticism of rapper Saweetie’s new music. Joe stated that her lyrics are confusing and that she gotta “shut the f*ck up”
Saweetie recently released her new EP, “THE SINGLE LIFE,” and it appears to be an attempt to address the rumors on social media about her affair with Offset, Cardi B‘s husband.
In a recent Joe Budden TV podcast, the former rapper slammed the ICY girl and said: “Saweetie Gotta Shut the F**k Up!” He also implied that Saweetie is trying to revive a media rumor at a time when Offset and Quavo are grieving the loss of their nephew and brother Takeoff.
During the podcast, Budden said he was not interested in listening to Saweetie until she answered the question: “Did you or didn’t you f*ck Offset?” He also claimed that many people were confused by her lyrics because they thought she was referring to Quavo instead of Lil Baby.
“I honestly didn’t really hear anything directed to Quavo. I just keep hearing Lil Baby:” he said.
“It ain’t the time for confusion. It ain’t the time for none of that, they just lost their brother and nephew. She’s been quiet for so long. There is no need to come shake the table now.”
After Joe Budden calls Saweetie ‘Sweetyrella’ on his podcast, Saweetie responded to him with a tweet that read: “Saweetie needs to STFU???? ok joelisha”
