Despite being one of the most well-known and influential rappers in the game right now, Kodak Black appears to be envious of NBA YoungBoy‘s popularity on social media.
Kodak Black's fans have recently leaked a recording on social media about a conversation between the rapper and his fans in which he talks about YoungBoy.
In the leaked conversation (WATCH VIDEO BELOW), Kodak tells his fans that they need to post on social media that he is better than YoungBoy.
“That YB is better and s** that's what really did it cause you see that s** everywhere — They just put YB better, YB better, we gotta put Yak better Yak better —Yak everywhere”: he said.
The native Floridian began creating hashtags and tweets for his fans to compete against his rival YB's level of social media popularity: “Yak better or Yak the realer or Yak the goat.”
The worst part was when he suggested the following title: “Yak created YB.”
Kodak continued saying: “I don't know if you wanna put that ‘Yak better' because that's like copying them boys. We can put Yak realer.”
We don't know where this comes from, but it looks like Kodak may be feeling jealous of YoungBoy's succes and popularity. Instead of focussing on his image and career, he's trying to manipulate algorithms to make him seem more popular than Youngboy.
