Russ returns with a new album “CHOMP 2”
The independent artist Russ surprises everyone with his insane new album “CHOMP 2“.
29 years old Russell James Vitale better known as “Russ” is an American rapper of Sicilian descent from Atlanta, Georgia.
Russ was born in Secaucus, New Jersey. He is a singer, songwriter, record producer, and hip-hop recording artist.
Before reaching mainstream success and topping the Billboard Hot 100, Russ dropped 11 projects before even joining SoundCloud and releasing one song per week for almost two years.
Working at an exhausting rate but was unable to build a fan base or business model that could sustain his ambition. Still that period ultimately would prove invaluable for what it would teach him about his craft.
On May 5 2017 Russ’s debut album “There’s Really a Wolf has been certified Gold, while his single “What They Want” got platinum status. It is one of the most commercially successful debut albums ever.

On December 8, 2021, Russ dropped his brand new album “CHOMP 2” which we can add to the best rap album of 2021.
The album consists of 14 tracks. It has surprising guest features with among others Jadakiss, Snoop Dogg, Jay Electronica, The Game, Big Sean, Wale, Joey Badass, Styles P, Westside Gunn, Lloyd Banks, Ghostface Killah, Papoose, Big K.R.I.T. and CyHi The Prynce.
The new album follows the CHOMP EP who was released on November 17th, 2020 which contains five tracks and additional contributions from DJ Premier, Busta Rhymes, Black Thought, Benny The Butcher, The Alchemist, and 9th Wonder.
