BIN IT: HONEYXBUN – Peepin’ Toms

Honeyxbun has been writing since 7th grade poetry class, and that background shows on “Peepin’ Toms.” She takes her Miami and Broward County roots and turns them into a rap narrative about the messier side of growing up, playful on the surface and sharp underneath.

The Florida bounce carries the whole track, and her cadence stays fast and controlled. This kind of storytelling comes from a real creative writing background. She started out in pop back in 2018 with “Around Midnight” and moved into hip-hop and alternative rap from there, and “Peepin’ Toms” shows how far that shift has taken her sound.
