In SPIN or BIN, Dilemaradio listeners get the chance to give their opinion on the latest releases. This time it was 'ROSS PALMER - PLACEBO'. We've got a hit, because the listeners have spinned it! 🤩
Ross Palmer pulls up from London with his self-produced single “Placebo”. He builds a hypnotic melodic trap foundation for his project Mind the Gap.
The lyrics get personal immediately. Ross unpacks the fallout of his father’s affair and the messy shift from boyhood to manhood. He delivers catchy hooks while confronting fractured relationships and his own ego.
The descending melody in the chorus anchors the whole song. This is raw storytelling wrapped in radio-ready polish.
