Blueface and social media personality Akademiks have announced their plans to bring their long-running feud to the boxing ring in what is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated matches of the year.

The feud between the two public figures started when Akademiks criticized Blueface’s reality show on the Zeus network, which depicted the rapper and his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, in a toxic relationship with frequent fights. Akademiks’ comments didn’t sit well with Blueface, and a back-and-forth exchange ensued, culminating in the rapper challenging Akademiks to a boxing match.

Initially, Akademiks declined the challenge, but recently, he appears to have had a change of heart and has challenged Blueface to a fight of his own. The proposed match has sparked a lot of buzz on social media, with fans eagerly anticipating the outcome.

The proposed match has also sparked speculation about whether Akademiks is ready to take on the seasoned Blueface in the ring. The rapper, who made his amateur boxing debut in July of 2021 against TikTok star Kane Trujillo, is no stranger to the sport, having fought in three-round bouts before.

Blueface had two professional boxing matches scheduled for 2022, but both events fell through. He was set to fight FaZe Temperr as the co-feature on August 27 but was removed from the card due to an altercation with his girl Rock prior to the bout. He was also scheduled to fight Swaggy P as the co-feature on September 10 but was denied a pro boxing license.

Despite these setbacks, Blueface remains determined to prove himself in the ring. On his Twitter account the rapper wrote: “I been drinking an smoking all year I’m ready tonight cuh a bitch at 31”

On the other hand, Akademiks has never fought in a boxing match before, and many consider him the underdog in the upcoming bout. Nonetheless, he has been taunting Blueface on social media, promising to knock out his opponent.

Natalie Nunn, a former cast member of the reality TV show “Bad Girls Club” on the Zeus network, recently discussed the upcoming boxing match in an interview on Akademiks’ podcast “Off The Records.”

During the interview, Akademiks proposed a 2 on 2 boxing match, with himself and a female fighter taking on Blueface and his girlfriend Rock. “We gon’ do some shit we never seen before. We all gonna fight simultaneously around the same time. I got a chick for Chrisean and me and Blueface,” said Akademiks. Nunn expressed interest in setting up the match immediately, but Akademiks requested a longer training period, stating, “No, no, no. Hell naw. Give me six or seven months.”

Akademiks’ response to Natalie Nunn’s suggestion of setting up the boxing match in a month sparked a reaction from Blueface. Taking to Twitter, Blueface posted a tweet with a laughing emoji, stating that Akademiks needs “6 or 7 months” to prepare.

In a recent tweet on social media, Blueface made a prediction about Akademiks’ career, stating that it would be over in six or seven months and that nobody would want to see him. He ended the tweet with a comment suggesting that Akademiks should have never accepted the challenge to fight.

“Ak career gone be over in 6 or 7 months ain’t nobody gone want to see that he should have said never”

Despite the excitement surrounding the match, some are questioning whether it will actually take place. Rumors have circulated that Akademiks is having second thoughts about the fight, and Blueface himself has expressed doubts about whether it will happen.

The upcoming boxing match between Blueface and Akademiks is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated bouts of the year. The fight Blueface VS Akademiks has captured the attention of fans and media alike. The feud between the two public figures, combined with the potential financial windfall and the interest from boxing fans and sports media outlets, make this match a highly anticipated event. Fans will have to wait and see whether the bout actually takes place, but the hype surrounding the event is sure to continue in the meantime.
