Of course DJ AKADEMIKS was not gonna sit this one out. He hopped on X and dropped a whole video breaking down the BIG30 AND POOH SHIESTY situation after watching Big30 sit down with Big Bank on the Perspektives podcast. Keep in mind Big30 is currently out on bond with an ankle monitor, still waiting on a February trial, and he used that podcast time to shut down the snitching rumors going around.

Akademiks basically gave his play by play on the whole case, the alleged Dallas studio robbery, and what it means for Big30 talking publicly while the case is still open. According to Akademiks’ post, he thinks the timing and the interview itself says a lot. Make of that what you will.

HERE’S THE ACTUAL CASE before Akademiks even opens his mouth. BIG30 AND POOH SHIESTY GOT HIT WITH ARMED ROBBERY AND KIDNAPPING CHARGES after an alleged incident at a Dallas recording studio back in January 2026. According to XXL, the whole mess ties back to a record deal dispute involving GUCCI MANE. Yeah, the guy with the ice cream tattoo apparently got tangled up in a situation ugly enough to land two rappers in handcuffs.

Pooh Shiesty is still locked up and reportedly fighting 23-hour isolation. Big30 caught a bond and is sitting on house arrest with an ankle monitor, which is basically the world’s worst fashion accessory. Both deny the kidnapping claims. TRIAL IS SET FOR FEBRUARY 2027, so this story isn’t going anywhere soon.
