So earlier this week, cops straight up ran up on a Burbank building tied to YG. We talkin CHP and Burbank SWAT with an actual search warrant. This wasn’t random either. According to TMZ, this all connects back to the 2021 murder of Drakeo the Ruler, a case that’s been ice cold with zero answers for years.

JUST A FEW HOURS OF INCONVENIENCE. And get this, dude still showed up and battled The Game in Verzuz that same night like nothing happened. LET’S BE CLEAR: NO NEW CHARGES CAME OUT OF THIS. YG got popped up for a quick detain, then walked right back out. No cuffs stuck, no court date, nothing. Just a search warrant that led nowhere new.

Fans already know YG and the drama around Drakeo goes way back before this. There was real beef between them for years. But beef ain’t a conviction, and cops have never charged YG with anything connected to the actual murder.
