Blueface was arrested Tuesday night in Las Vegas after cops executed an open warrant for his arrest.
It’s been a rough week for Blueface. We’ve learned that the rapper was arrested for attempted murder in Las Vegas, outside Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles on Tuesday, November 11th.
According to TMZ, it appears to have been an undercover operation. Eyewitnesses told TMZ that 6-8 officers were in on the arrest, parked in unmarked cars.
TMZ reports that his girlfriend Chrisean Rock was with him at the time of his arrest. She looked confused when her boyfriend was arrested and didn’t seem to know what was happening until police opened their doors to take him into custody.
Cops on the scene told TMZ they were executing an open warrant for Blueface’s arrest; TMZ has obtained legal documents connected to the warrant, and some serious charges have been levied against the rapper: felony attempted murder with the use of a deadly firearm or tear gas, as well as discharging a gun into a house, building, vehicle or craft (he is looking at both charges). Apparently, the incident that resulted in Blueface’s arrest took place on October 8th.
On October 8, Twitter user Konick Tay wrote about the incident with Blueface.: “I got jumped and was shot last night by Blueface outside the strip club.”
TMZ released footage of Blueface shooting at a man in a truck outside a cub in Las Vegas.
On Wednesday morning November 16th, a judge set bail at $50,000 for “Blueface”. If the rapper posts bond and is released from custody he will not be allowed to contact his victim—who has not been named publicly. A preliminary hearing date was also scheduled for January 24th, 2023.
We will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
