Dancehall artist Kranium releases new single “Wi Deh Yah”

Kranium, the global dancehall sensation, is beginning out the year with an upbeat and confident new track called “Wi Deh Yah.”

Kemar Donaldson, better known by his stage name Kranium, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall musician best known for his 2013 smash single “Nobody Has To Know,” which garnered him international attention and landed him a record deal with Atlantic Records.

When it comes to music, Kranium is known for its melodious flow, creative wordplay, and the ability to break down all barriers.

Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and raised in Jamaica, Queens, New York, Kranium presents the right blend of traditional Dancehall with his own distinct sound.

In big collaborations with musicians such as Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Kid, Major Lazer, Torey Lanez, Kojo Funds, Idris Elba, Rotimi, Bebe Rexha, and Ed Sheeran, Kranium's distinct sound can be heard.

Kranium has established himself as a global touring artist, performing Dancehall in cities such as Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Albania, Sweden, Germany, Israel, several African and Caribbean countries, Australia, and more.

The Jamaican musician's professional career began with a series of appearances in New York City and the surrounding tri-state area.

Gyptian, Serani, I-Octane, and Tarrus Riley are just a few of the artists who have chosen the dancehall musician as an opening for their shows.

In New York City, Kranium's song “Nobody Has to Know,” recorded by PLMR Productions, was broadcast on ethnic radio stations, including the prominent Hot 97 FM.

In 2015, “Nobody Has To Know” sold over 39,000 copies and reached number 32 on the Reggae Digital Songs list.

Tony Kelly, TJ Records, and Cash Flow are among the producers with whom Kranium has collaborated.

After just one listens, you'll be drawn in by his charisma and shamelessly honest lyrics, but it's his talent and consistency that make him a true force to be reckoned with.

Kranium will celebrate the release of his new track by embarking on his most extensive North American headline tour to date.

The Wi Deh Yah Tour will take place on April 28th at the Brooklyn Bowl in Philadelphia, PA, and will run until mid-May.

Tickets for all of the announced dates will go on sale at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 31st (ET).
