Drake and filmmaker David O. Russell have teamed up to bring us a new film titled “Amsterdam.”
Drake is taking his film-producing skills to the next level. On Thursday, July 7th, he shared proudly on his Instagram page the trailer for the upcoming movie “Amsterdam.”
The upcoming movie “Amsterdam” is written, produced, and directed by filmmaker David O. Russell.
The rapper/actor and the writer-director are working together on Amsterdam, a historical mystery and comedy film that's set to arrive in the United States theaters on November 4, 2022, by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
The Toronto native shared the movie's trailer on his Instagram page on Thursday.
Drake's caption reads: “A lot of this actually happened. Amsterdam, a new film from David O. Russell, arrives in theaters in November 2022. Executive produced by myself and @futuretheprince @dreamcrew.”
The film features a number of well-known actors, including Chris Rock, Christian Bale, Robert De Niro, Margot Robbie, Zoe Saldana, John David Washington, Taylor Swift, and more.
The leading protagonists in the film are Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington.
In June of last year, Taylor Swift's casting for the film Amsterdam was made public. In the official Amsterdam movie trailer, Swift portrays a heartbroken daughter grieving the death of her father.
