During Kid Cudi’s Performance, Kanye Fans Threw Objects At Him

Kid Cudi took the stage as a replacement for Kanye West at Rolling Loud Miami on Friday, July 22. But, unfortunately, Kid Cudi didn't get the warm welcome he was hoping for.

The event, which took place on early Friday night, was supposed to feature Kanye West as the headliner. But due to unknown circumstances, Kanye canceled his performance. That's when the Rolling Loud organizers brought on Kid Cudi as a last-minute replacement.

Kanye fans started throwing things at Kid Cudi, who walked off the stage during his performance at Rolling Loud Miami. The crowd began chanting “Kanye” over and over again until Kid Cudi walked off stage in frustration.

Cudi made a statement after allegedly being struck in the face with a bottle.

“Yo, I will walk off the stage if you throw one more f*** thing. I will leave. I will leave right now. Throw one more mtf thing on the stage and I will walk off. You're ruining everything for everybody,” he said.

Desperate Cudi continued warning the crowd by saying: “I will f*** leave. If I see one more f*** thing on this stage I'm leaving. Don't f** with me.”

As soon as he finished speaking, someone in the audience threw something at him again which caused Cudi to decide to leave the stage.

The Rolling Loud organization team announced Kanye's cancellation on Twitter on July 17: “Due to circumstances outside of our control, Ye will no longer performing at Rolling Loud Miami 2022. Please welcome Kid Cudi!”

The cancellation was further explained by the co-founders of Rolling Loud, Tariq Cherif, and Matt Zingler, in the following message shared on social media:

“We were looking forward to Ye headlining Rolling Loud Miami 2022. We spent months working with him and his team on the performance. Unfortunately, Ye has decided that he will no longer be performing. This is the first time a headliner has ever pulled off our show and though we don't take it lightly, we wish him the best. We look forward to welcoming Kid Cudi as a headliner in Miami and we can't wait to see what he has in store.”

Days after canceling his performance Kanye showed up at Lil Durk‘s Rolling Loud Miami set earlier that evening and performed the song “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1,” which features Kid Cudi's vocals.
