Fat Joe shows off his $4 million watch

Fat Joe drops the Yeezy after walking out in some dubious YEEZY NSTLD footwear and replaces it with a $4 million watch.

The New Yorker is demonstrating that he has class and elegance when it comes to the watch and jewelry game, in addition to defusing the memes meant to discredit his eye for fashion.

Joe has presented fans with his version of “pushing P” with the release of a watch he claims is worth $4 million.

The hip-hop icon was seen presenting the piece from the guys at Pristine Jewelers in NYC in a video posted to Instagram.

In the video, Joe says, “Big boy came in, it's called the Avalanche.”Don't do this to yourself guys. Four mill to the wrist. It comes with 24-hour security. This is how I'm pushing P. You don't want this type of smoke right here. This what I call pushing P.”

Fat Joe seems to refer to the same Yeezy boots in a follow-up post, suggesting that he meant for that moment to act as a type of foreshadowing for the presentation of the Avalanche.

On the jewelers' Instagram, the recently presented Pristine piece, which is an upgrade for Fat Joe's prior watch from the brand's founders Ofir Ben Shimon and Avi Davidov, attracted special attention.

According to Pristine, the case contains “196 cts of all GIA-certified diamonds.

The item is also advertised as “one of the largest clocks with diamonds ever constructed,” according to the jewelers.

Joe has responded to critics who have questioned his drip game because of his age.

The 51-year-old attended an Instagram LIVE session with Brian “B.Dot” Miller to discuss his desire to stay ‘fly,' even if B.Dot disapproved of his choice of footwear.

Joe replied to the outpouring of boot-focused feedback, claiming “being so fly” is why he's been getting flak. “I wanna know why I can't be fresh”Joe explained.

“I don't know if you know this, I've been so fly that it's, like, working against me now. I'm getting backlash for being so fly. I wanna know why I can't be fresh”, Joe continued. “Those Yeezy boots are sold out,”

During the LIVE session, B.Dot mocked Fat Joe, implying that the Yeezy was a mistake and that a pair of Timberland boots would have been a better fit.

The rapper has been making a lot of headlines lately, particularly for his support of a bill that would make it illegal for songs to be used against musicians in court.

Fat Joe, along with Jay-Z, Meek Mill, Big Sean, and others have signed a letter to politicians in support of the Rap Music on the Trial bill, according to a Rolling Stone article from January.
