During a press conference, Yo Gotti announces Mozzys signing to CMG.

The 2022 press conference for CMG Records took place on Thursday (February 10).

Yo Gotti’s record label CMG announced the event on social media on Wednesday, promising “big news” from the label’s crew. BlocBoy JB, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, and Moneybagg Yo joined the rapper on stage.

CMG conducted a press conference earlier tonight with a number of the artists on stage, organized by Carl Lamarre. Yo Gotti made a significant revelation regarding CMG’s latest signee near the close of the show, which lasted almost half an hour.

The Memphis rapper was questioned about a potential collaborative project with 42 Dugg and EST Gee just minutes into the event.

“Yeah, we got something comin’,” Dugg responded. “Me and Gee been working on our tape. That shit coming soon. We finishing that right now. Just be ready for it.”

So, when can fans look forward to the collaboration album? It may arrive as early as next week, according to Gotti. The rapper answered, “Like, February 18.”

Soon later, Yo Gotti revealed the newest member of the CMG family: Sacramento rapper Mozzy.

Gotti announced that Sacramento artist Mozzy had joined the CMG label.

“One of the things is that I always wanted to do was work with an artist from the West Coast,” Gotti explained. “After years of having conversations and these are “big conversations” and running into each other and sharing ideas, we come here tonight to let you know that we’re proudly bringing our dawg Mozzy into CMG.” I’m just gonna get right into it Mozzy is CMG,” he added.

Mozzy took the stage with the words: “We are in the cocaine’s money game n***g.”
The rapper said that Gotti had backed him up before his career took off, thus it was only natural for them to collaborate.

The Sacramento rapper said: “Overdue, overdue, out the gate. Big dawg been tappin’ in with me. I’m talkin’ about even before a n***a career even really popped. Same background. We had conversations, he told me there was a seat at the table. I had to get my life right, tie up a couple of loose ends. I tied them motherfuckers up, we here now.”

What is CMG getting from the Sacramento star?

“You’ve already seen the roster, that motherfucker go brazy already. It’s no secret. I’m just trying to get straight to it, n***a, I’m trying to run up some cocaine money,” that’s it. Straight up.”Mozzy added.

Yo Gotti mentioned: “I always wanted to plant this CMG stum in the west. When you talk about one of my favorites from out here. We talk about Mozzy.” Gotti added: “Mozzy and I have been talking like four-five years. I’m a fan of his music.”

Gotti’s press conference comes only hours after he released the video for “Giving Back,” a standout track off his new album CM10: Free Game. Moneybagg Yo, Kodak Black, 42 Dugg, Blac Youngsta, and EST Gee all contributed to the two-disc compilation, which had 22 tracks. WATCH MORE

Gotti launched the Change a Rapper’s Life Contest or the “#DollaFoDolla challenge”, in which artists contributed their verses to the open record, which allowed an unsigned artist to be included on the album’s highlight track “Dolla Fo Dolla.”The finalist may also be offered a record deal with Gotti’s CMG label (Collective Music Group). Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, and EST Gee are among the label’s signees. The challenge went viral on social media to the point that it reached prisoners and army men.
