Fake , also known as , has returned to Instagram claiming he was never banned.

In a video posted to his Instagram story, the rapper-impersonator Izzy claimed that he was never been banned from the platform and that he took a break just to see if people were missing him.

The rumor circulated all over the internet very quickly when DJ Akademiks made the statement that Izzy's Instagram page had been suspended by the platform for impersonating the real Drake.

In Izzy's first post since returning to the platform, he shared an Instagram story that tagged and asked for attention from the social media personality. The caption reads: “Y'all so quick to post me leaving Instagram, why not tell'em I'm back.”

In a follow-up video, Izzy explained that he had simply taken a temporary break from Instagram to work on his new album. He also said that he learned how to manipulate the internet to his advantage.

“I learned how to manipulate the internet to my advantage I deactivated my account for the weekend to finish the album and see how much people care about me…. IM BACK… ALBUM DONE, COMING SOON.”

“NOBODY BELIEVED GOD DID”

The real Drake hasn't commented publicly on Izzy's return to Instagram, but it seems unlikely that he'll be happy about it.

During the “We in Miami podcast,” a recording of DJ Akademiks was aired, in which the social media personality said that the real Drake had informed him that he didn't like what Izzy had been up to lately.

said: “I give you the reality, I talked to Drake, He does not like it, doesn't feel amused by it, he is annoyed by it. He won't say that publicly because if he says something he gives you life”

“It was cool for a week but at this point, you put yourself up to embarrassment cuz everybody in the industry who knows Drake, knows he doesn't like it”: he continued

The Toronto native has been impersonated by many artists over the years, but none have gotten as much attention as Izzy Drake has in recent months.

It's unclear what exactly happened with Izzy Drake's account; did he close it for a short break or just to get people talking about him again? Did he do it to promote his upcoming album? We don't know! But what we do know is that this guy knows how to manipulate the internet in his favor—and he's not going anywhere anytime soon.
